It's also more about the triggering of the neuropathways in that part of your brain responsible for "reward". Once that reward center gets primed (and for some it's the first time they get high or drunk or whatever, for others it's later than that)the brain continuously seeks that reward. At least that's where the research is going. -----Original Message----- From: Creed Discussion List [mailto:CREED-DISCUSS@WINDUPLIST.COM] On Behalf Of Alexis M. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't someone considered an alcoholic after they've had MORE than one drink? Rather than considered one before the first? And hey, it's EASY to put the first one down [on the table]. KEEPING it down is the harder thing. I wonder if they can come up with a hypnosis thing where there's the words "alcohol is bad" spinning round and round and everytime the person thought about drinking he'd slap himself. Would that actually work? I wonder.... As for creed-related..........ummm............ok I can't relate a story about creed to this. Other than what's been mulled over in the past.
